Hi, I'm Rose! For 8 years, I worked abroad in the hospitality industry, as a guest service staff and later as a designated trainer, where taking care of people and getting the details right became second nature to me. I've handled everything from resolving guest concerns on the spot, to training new staff on service standards, to keeping accurate records and information organized in a fast-paced environment. I'm now bringing that same care and reliability into virtual assistant work. I'm skilled in administrative support, data entry, and customer service, and I'm comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and everyday online tools. I'm also expanding into video editing, so if you ever need help with content, that's something I can support too. What sets me apart is that I don't just complete tasks, I genuinely care about making things easier for the people I work with. I'm organized, dependable, a fast learner, and I show up ready to give my best, whether it's my first day or my hundredth. If you're looking for someone who treats your business like it matters, I'd love to work with you.
Jumeirah living marina gate hotel Dubai , contract
Jun 2025 to Jul 2026
During my time at Jumeirah Living Marina Gate, one of Dubai's luxury hospitality properties, I served as a Guest Service Lounge Associate, providing personalized administrative and concierge support to VIP guests within a high-end residential hotel environment. This role required a strong balance of warm, attentive customer service and precise administrative execution, as I was often the first point of contact for guests with specific needs, requests, and expectations. My day-to-day responsibilities included managing guest reservations from start to finish, coordinating room and service bookings, confirming details, and making adjustments as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience. I also handled the daily operations of the guest lounge, making sure the space and services ran smoothly during peak and off-peak hours. A major part of my role involved guest correspondence, responding to inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, whether communicated in person, by phone, or through internal systems. I maintained detailed and accurate records of guest preferences, requests, and interactions, ensuring that information was properly documented for follow-up and for other team members to reference when needed. This attention to detail was essential in a luxury setting where consistency and personalization are expected at every touchpoint. Working in this fast-paced, detail-driven environment strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organized under pressure, and communicate clearly with both guests and colleagues. It also reinforced the importance of professionalism, discretion, and consistency, qualities that are especially critical when working with VIP clientele who expect a high level of care and attentiveness. Overall, this role sharpened my administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills, while deepening my understanding of what it means to deliver excellent client-centered service, skills I now bring into remote administrative and customer support work.
