Employers hire Zapier Experts and Make.com Specialists (connecting the apps a business already uses so work happens without anyone touching it), Automation and Workflow Automation Specialists (mapping a manual process and rebuilding it as a reliable automated one), AI Automation Experts (adding LLM steps into those workflows for drafting, classifying, and summarizing), AI Chatbot Developers (building support and sales bots, often with retrieval over a company's own documents), Prompt Engineers, CRM Automation Specialists, AI Data Analysts, and Machine Learning Engineers.
You need demonstrable builds, not a job history.
