Question 51

How do I know if a job or employer is legitimate, and how do I report a scam?

Accepted Answer

The biggest red flag is money — legitimate employers never ask you to pay a fee to get hired, to "process" or "verify" your ID, for training, or to "release" your payment. Before starting work, verify who you're dealing with: check the employer's profile and company details, be wary of vague offers or pressure to act fast, and keep early conversations on FindTalent where you can. If you're ever asked to pay to get hired or paid, don't — report the job or user right here in this chat and we'll look into it.

Question 52

Why don't I see any jobs on the job board?

Accepted Answer

Usually it's a too-narrow filter — clear or widen your search (job type, budget, skills), since an empty result is often just a filter combination. Job browsing isn't tied to your approval status, so you can look while your profile is pending. If the board still looks empty after resetting filters, there may simply be few active postings at the moment, or a temporary issue — refresh, and contact support if it persists.

Question 53

My profile keeps getting rejected — what should I do?

Accepted Answer

Each rejection comes with a reason — read it carefully and address that specific issue (often an incomplete section, an unclear ID or selfie, or a profile that doesn't yet meet our guidelines). Make your profile as complete and professional as possible, then resubmit. If you've addressed the feedback and it's still rejected, open a support ticket for help.

Question 54

How do I know if my talent profile is approved, and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

After you complete your profile and verify your email, our team reviews it before it goes live. You'll get a notification and email when it's approved or if it needs changes. Review is done manually, so it may take some time — you can check your current status from your dashboard. Tip: adding your ID verification, portfolio, education, and work history strengthens your profile and helps you rank higher in employer search results.
