With a background in academic research, laboratory work, organizational leadership, and journalism, I’ve developed strong attention to detail, research, documentation, and written communication skills. Beyond my academic background, I previously worked in social media management for two home-based businesses, where I handled content planning, writing, editing, and publishing. I’m also a national journalism champion in Copyreading & Headline Writing, which strengthened my skills in proofreading, copyediting, and communicating information clearly and accurately. I genuinely enjoy researching, organizing information, refining written content, and creating pieces that connect with people. I’m looking to bring these skills into roles involving administrative support, proofreading and copyediting, research, and technical writing.
National Meat Inspection Service, internship

During my internship at the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) Regional Technical Operations Center XIII, I gained hands-on experience in meat inspection, food safety, and quality assurance while assisting with technical services offered by the RTOC. I was also exposed to GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and meat inspection procedures through training, plant visits, and field activities, strengthening my ability to follow regulatory standards, document findings, and work with technical information.
