Medical Virtual Assistant | Patient/Homecare Scheduler
Metro Manila
Hi, I’m Vera Francisco. I’m a Medical Technology graduate with three semesters of medical school, which gave me a strong foundation in medical terminology and healthcare workflows. Aside from my remote healthcare experience, I have a good understanding of both clinical and administrative processes, allowing me to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and clients. I’m comfortable handling administrative and organizational tasks using Notion and Google Workspace, including documentation, file organization, spreadsheets, email and calendar management, and maintaining records. I also have experience with social media management, creating basic graphic content and captions, and working with Meta Ads. I completed SmartScale360’s training for U.S.-based healthcare clients, which focused on professional communication, client-facing response skills, patient scheduling, active listening, and accurate information gathering. I also completed AidPlusVA’s four-week Medical Virtual Assistant training, covering medical terminology and healthcare foundations, HIPAA and PHI, professional communication and cybersecurity, insurance, EMR fundamentals, basic scribing, medical office workflow and scheduling, as well as billing and prior authorization basics. What sets me apart is that I’m driven, focused, and proactive. I take initiative when learning something new and I’m comfortable researching and familiarizing myself with new tools, systems, and processes independently. I understand that every client has their own workflow and may use tools I haven’t worked with before, so I’m always willing to learn and undergo further training when needed. At the same time, I’m resourceful and capable of building my understanding independently, which allows me to adapt quickly and become familiar with new systems efficiently. I aim to be a reliable support who continues to learn and grow while contributing to my client’s operations.
