I am Mark Hexilon Payno, a recent Computer Engineering graduate (June 2026) from the University of Rizal System – Morong with a strong academic record (GWA 1.5, Top 1 of the batch). As a DOST-SEI Scholar, I have built a solid foundation in software development, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and IoT through academic excellence and hands-on project experience. My technical expertise spans full-stack development (Next.js, React, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, SQL), artificial intelligence and computer vision (TensorFlow, MobileNetV2, Raspberry Pi), and embedded systems/IoT (Arduino, ESP32, sensors, servo control). I have successfully led and delivered impactful projects, most notably the SARI-ONE AI System, where I served as Project Lead, Full Stack Developer, and AI Engineer. I also gained professional experience as a Full Stack Developer Intern at South Asialink Finance Corporation, where I designed and deployed a Meeting Room Scheduling System that significantly improved operational efficiency.
South Asialink Finance Corporation, internship
Jun 2025 to Aug 2025
I completed my **Full Stack Developer Internship** at **South Asialink Finance Corporation** in Ortigas Center, Pasig City from **June 2025 to July 2025**. As the sole developer for the project, I independently designed, developed, and deployed a **Meeting Room Scheduling System**. This web application replaced the company’s previous manual booking process with a centralized, efficient digital solution. Key contributions include: - Built a full-stack application using **Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn/UI, MongoDB, and SQL**. - Implemented robust backend logic and database integration to handle concurrent bookings, preventing double reservations and ensuring data consistency. - Developed scalable RESTful APIs and integrated **Nginx** for deployment. - Conducted thorough API testing using **Postman**. The system significantly improved office operations by reducing booking conflicts by an estimated **70–80%** and saving employees **2–3 hours per week** that were previously spent on manual coordination and communication. This internship allowed me to apply my skills in full-stack development, database management, and problem-solving in a real corporate environment while delivering tangible business impact.
