I spent some brutal years living in the US, pounding my way thru the competitive streets of the corporate world and I find myself still fascinated with the societal issues that shape the compounding world we live in. One concern caught my eyes while walking to work on the streets of Compton. I passed by a group of children strolling along with their backpacks and apple juices, giving high fives to well known gang bangers that hang out along the way. So, I thought, could this be these children’s future? I mean if you ask me, the perennial problem in the US when it comes to education is not “just” the onslaught of organized crimes dwelling in the slums of Los Angeles, but the quality of education itself. Children look at schools as a chore to be tackled with day by day until its done. The curiosity to which children is keen for are redirected to the lifestyle of the streets. You ask a high school student, any high school student how old is the US and they don’t know the answer. This may be a surface, observational finding but nevertheless, it cuts deep in the issue. But who am I to judge, to me the 2 most important thing in learning is curiosity and critical thinking. You help a child to wield its power; they can change the world. I may be a simple and some can argue mundane and even mediocre guy but one thing we all have in common… That to change the world, we all have to start from the beginning. And those are our kids. Let’s learn to learn more. Well, enough of this corny stuff, here’s the real reason why I’m applying for the job… I hope that my skills and talents are sufficient enough for your needs. I have ventured from different companies and gain enough experience that I believe can be useful to you. I strive for perfection, for I believe that it is the key to any organization's development. I ask merely to let me be part of it.
