In my previous role, I accurately monitored patient’s input and output to identify positive or negative fluid balance. Furthermore, I advocated for patient’s autonomy by providing clarifications with regards to medical procedures, prescribed medications, and requested laboratory exams. I have also ensured accurate charting and documentation which detailed appropriate nursing interventions concerned with patient’s plan of care. While I may not have any prior experience in being an MedVA, I completed several training programs in Medical Virtual Assistance, Medical Transcription, Medical Coding, and HIPAA. Currently, I am engaged in a remote training related to Data Entry Tools and Techniques. Nevertheless, my experience in collaboration, decision-making, critical-thinking, therapeutic communication assist in effectively contributing to the company’s goals and objectives.
