I have spent the last 2 years working directly in health insurance and benefits administration. In that time, I have handled everything from chaotic open enrollments to resolving messy billing issues with carriers. I am comfortable with the technical side especially using Employee Navigator and Excel, but I also know how to talk to people when they are stressed about their coverage or claims. I think what makes me different is that I take ownership. If a client has an issue, I do not just forward the email and wait; I follow up until it is fixed.
